Agirlsbestfriend.ie – Our Returns and Exchange Policy

We love what we chose to feature on the site and we want you to love your pieces just as much.  If you don’t completely love your selection, we will take it back no questions asked. If you would prefer to exchange it for something you’re more suited to or return it completely, that is absolutely no problem. For hygiene reasons, we regret that we cannot accept the exchange of any earrings – even if you have not worn them. (This does not affect your statutory rights.)
We offer a credit note or refund for returns/exchanges requested within 30 days of purchase once the item has not been worn. Unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange after this time has elapsed.

I have received an item as a gift but it’s not my style and I have no receipt?
Don’t worry – we’ve all been there! If it’s not your style don’t panic, if you don’t have a receipt. Please contact me at shelly@agirlsbestfriend.ie and I will do my best to help you.

When will I receive my order?
If you are in Ireland, you will receive your order within 3-5 working days – depending onm which postage type you selected.
We offer two types of postage:
Untraced Standard Post via An Post : 1 – 3 Business Days (once the order has been dispatched) – we are not responsible for any loss or non-delivery of items when this postage type is selected. The purchaser understands the risks associated with posting items without Track and Trace.
Track and Trace Post  via An Post : 1 – 3 Business Days (once dispatched) – you will be provided with a unique shipping number for your order and you can search for that here

How do I request a return or exchange?
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that it was sent.
To return any items – please email shelly@agirlsbestfriend.ie within 14 days of the sale to organise a refund or credit note.

Returns Postage
We do not offer paid return postage. A Girl’s Best Friend is a small Irish business so the purchaser is responsible for any postage charges on returning items.
We cannot be held responsible for any lost returns packages – and so we recommend that you track and trace your package by registered post via An Post.

Where’s my refund?
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please contact me shelly@agirlsbestfriend.ie – Please be reminded that refunds processed via PayPal back to your account / bank card can take up to 30 days! Lead and metal disclaimer / waiver of liability
Our products are sourced from global suppliers who use the highest standard materials in their production. However, it is important to note that some of the products may contain metals such as lead and nickel which can cause allergic reactions for some people. It remains you – the customer’s responsibility, to make sure you do not purchase items you are knowingly allergic to. Please note by purchasing any item you waive us of any liability occurring from wearing our products not limited to “allergic reactions”.
Please note if not properly stored and looked after sterling silver will discolour as this is the natural nature of the metal. We are not liable for your item discolouration due to lack of care of the item.
